Britney's Bang Up Job: Gimme Some More at the VMAs

A few days ago Britney shocked us all by showing up in LA apparently so drunk and so high that she forgot to wear pants. Well she showed up this evening opening the VMAs and apparently forgot to wear an outfit. Clad in a sparkle bra and panties she lip sync'd her new song "Gimme Some More". Britney looked a shadow of her former self. At one point in the "performance" she looked deer in the headlights as she realized she wasn't sure of her dance steps. Whoever thought it would be a GREAT idea to have Britney open the show also thought "hey everyone else is making a buck off her -- why not MTV?" Worst opening of an award show since Shania Twain's "Any Man of Mine" at the CMAs years ago. Someone save Britney from herself!
