Jessica: Have A Life You Can Be Proud Of!

Since her split with Nick, Jessica Simpson has tried to shed her poptart image. She is showing the world that with her dark hair and her "serious" boyfriend John Mayer that yes she too is to be taken seriously. But here's the problem, compared to her ex Nick she looks unhappy and unsure of herself. Now mind you I am not advocating marrying the guy you dated at 18 (hence the split) but Nick knows himself. Nick knows what he wants. Nick isn't afraid to take a risk and deal with the consequences. Not so much Miss Jess. I think that in order for Jessica to show the world that she has a life she is happy with, she will need to ditch the dark locks, cover up the twins, and ditch the serious boyfriend. She also needs to cut ties with Mama and Papa and go out and try life on her own. Take a page from Brooke Shields. But enough with this on again off again relationships, take charge of your life and get you some happy.

Spidey vs. Harry Movie Money War

Spiderman 3 record for top movie gross in the opening weekend will fall on July 13th. Why? That is the release date for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. But you say Spidey came in at $148 million for it's first weekend and toppled the 10-month old record for Pirates 2. Plus you mention that Pirates 3 comes out on May 25th. I say, look at the top 10 movie gross in opening weekends and you find only two series that have mutliple movies listed. Who? Spidey and Harry. By the way Harry Potter holds the 7th, 8th, 10th and 11th spots on that list. http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/records/#weekend With the last book of the series to be released one week prior to the 5th movie, expect Harry to squish Spidey.

Why Shear Design SUCKS

Bravo came into it's own with the hit reality show Project Runway. It followed it up with the mildly successful Top Chef. Unfortunately it hit rock bottom with Shear Design. Why you might ask? Let's review.
Hostess: Heidi Klum, Padma and Jaclyn Smith??? Please two hotties and a former Angel? Heidi rocks, Padma steams and Smith well, she is there for the over 60 crowd.
Judges: Everyone FEARS Top Chef Tom Colicchio (even on Top Design they fear him!) and who can forget crabby Nina Garcia. There is no way Sally Hershberger and her one famous (Meg Ryan) cut instill fear like the other judges.
Challenges: While I have to admit they get funky with challenges, the rewards suck. Why not give the winner an extra hour? No, you get a picture of a model with your hairstyle. Sucky sucky.
Contestants: These people are no fun to watch on a reality competition show. Only two of them are in a "fight" and they aren't even that interesting. I say shake it up. Get better contestants. Remember when Laura told Tim she thought Jeffrey cheated?!?! Priceless.
Final Judgement: Shear Design should be cut once and for all. And if you do bring it back for a second season Bravo, pull a Top Chef and get us a new hostess! Maybe someone like....

Well Paris you have done it this time. You got yourself 45 days in jail for probation violations. Although don't think that Paria is really upset by her sentence. No, she is already sending a thank you to Judge Sauer for increasing her income. Why you ask? Interviews, photos, book deals, movie rights, etc. Don't think for one second Paris and her crew aren't already making deals on how to profit off of her jail time. It seems as though with the release of so many other sex tapes Paris needed a new outlet to steal the limelight. Jail will do it. Well played monkey friend. Well played.
