What's Hot This Week?

According to MSN Entertainment these are the hot topics you should know today. That Britney's out, that JLo is having twins, that Kate Moss sold a photo of herself, that Eva Longoria made a bad film with Jason Biggs, that Valentine's day is coming up, that Heath's passing was accidental, that Britney can't make good choices about people, that Dr. Phil is being sued and that the Grammy's are on this coming weekend and someone got snubbed.
Now here's what bkate thinks you should know today. That Britney is a hot ball of mess and needs up to leave her be for a bit. The girl can't handle the fame any longer and out of respect for her kids let's let her be. (Seriously MSN had 2 Britney articles! Two!) That JLO and Marc missed the moment of "oh cool they had babies" they should have aimed to deliver around the time of Christina and Nicole. That Kate Moss sells photos of herself ALL THE TIME, it's her JOB. That any movie starring Eva Longoria and Jason Biggs is gonna be BAD. I smell Razzies. And that finally someone got smart about Dr. Phil and is giving him a run for his money.
The only thing you need to know in celeb news right now is that the Grammys happen this Sunday night and it should be fun. The outfits are always ridiculous and someone is always out of place. So if you haven't already, google Grammys and find out who the nominees are. On Sunday I will make my predictions on who will win and you can give me crap if I am wrong.

In A Van Down By The River

Reports are in that one Ms. Paris Hilton is losing out on millions of dollars of inheritance from her grandfather Baron Hilton. It seems Baron has had enough of the antics of his socialite granddaughter and possibly the rest of her family and has made the decision to leave the bulk of his fortune (97% of 2.3 billion dollars) to the family's foundation. Which leaves the remainders of his heirs to split a mere 69 million dollars. Not bad but it ain't billions. And does anyone else find it interesting that the foundation provides housing to those with mental illnesses? Maybe Paris could get a grant or other assistance for her home? Well whatever the reason Baron decided to make this change I congratulate him for taking his wealth and doing something good with it. Apparently there are a few good ones left in the Hilton clan. Stay tuned in case we find out that Paris decides to make some honest money soon...and doesn't end up in a van down by the river. I bet you she is wondering what Stavros is up to!

Sisters! Sisters! There were never such devoted sisters!

Well the world is officially asking all residents of Kentwood LA to NOT go into showbiz. In what can only be defined as the "smartest move of her career" Jamie Lynn Spears announced that she has accomplished getting pregnant at sixteen unlike her older sister who waited until she was 23. Now you may ask yourself why this was the smartest move of her career and I will tell you because it will end it. It will keep Ms. Jamie Lynn from becoming what her sister currently is. Jamie will never have the fame and fortune of Britney and therefore will not have the same problems her sister experiences. So yes it is the smartest move of her career.
What devoted sisters these two are. I guess Jamie Lynn wanted to make sure her children could play with Britney's. Or maybe Britney encouraged Jamie to get preggers in order to have someone to discuss parenting with?
Well whatever it is worth. Good luck to Jamie and for goodness sakes let's stop giving people from Kentwood money and fame.

Gimme More: Part Deux - Lips of an Angel?

Does it seem to anyone else out there that Britney is taking her latest release of "Gimme More" a little too seriously? We all know that she overindulges in fast food, bad hair, cigs, drinking, Red Bull and bad outfits but now the Britster has decided to overindulge in a bit of plastic makeover. Yes, that's right Brit went over the top -- apparently she has watched one too many episodes of Dr. 90210 and identified with those on the show and in a move of solidarity she got herself a new pair of lips. And no I'm not talking about her Lady Bits Lips but rather her "I can't sing so I will lip-sync, stand half-naked and grind in front of you" lips. Maybe these are where the magic is going to happen? Maybe she needed bigger lips to make sure she doesn't spill when she is trying to drink (better suction)? Maybe this is just a case of too much of a good thing.

Hooking Up On The Hills

Well I am back and this time it is for real. I have spent the last 30 minutes watching one of my most favorite guilty pleasures and I think it is time that I begin a petition for Lauren "LC" Conrad. Talk about a girl who needs all the ladies to point her in the right direction -- this girl has dated more tools in four seasons on television than Pam Anderson has her entire life. So won't you join me in starting a petition to have Lauren hook up with Brody Jenner?!?! He's the hottest guy she's hit on and she needs that hook up. Please Lauren - don't screw it up.

"The Life of Britney Spears" show aka "Kaya". Yeah anyone else think this new show on MTV will be loosely based on Britney's life? No question.
